outer banks

for spring break my family went to outer banks, north carolina and we decided to join them! it wasn't the warmest beach vacation i have ever been on, but we still had a great time!!

we went to the wright brothers museum and then to the sand dunes at kitty hawk.

the race is on! at the top rich, taylor, lexi and halli. lexi didn't even make a run for it. it's neck and neck for taylor and rich. but rich pulled ahead at the end for the big win. next came halli. and in 4th place comes dad and maza!!

we had one really nice day and spent the afternoon at the beach. maza was too cute in her swim suit!!

we had lots of yummy food and found lots of treasures shopping. we couldn't resist taking some photos on this huge chair (even if it was soooo windy!!) 

such a fun week. it was sad to say goodbye. and we def. missed having zack there! 

and...maza had her 10 month birthday while we were on the trip! a few things about 10 month old maza:

--she has 4 top teeth and 2 bottoms and loves to eat and try lots of different foods

--she doesn't crawl but gets around just fine using her hands and one food to propel herself along--it is soo funny and so cute at the same time. our girl is officially mobile!

-- she jabbers and makes so many fun noises. she says mama and dada but we are still not sure if she is really referring to us or not

--she sleeps from about 8 pm to 7 am. which is so wonderful. sometimes she'll wake up around 6 or 630 but she will usually play in her bed until 7. she takes 2 naps. 

we love our girl and can't believe she is already to double digit months already!
